GET TO KNOW US
Good coffee, product videos in Turkish Sign Language, and clear written communication. A café where every guest can choose with confidence.
01 / OUR STORY
Connection needs no sound.
ELLER is a fictional café concept that values Deaf culture and different ways of communicating. Accessibility is part of the whole experience, from how we present the menu to how guests place their orders.
We aim to provide each item's name, ingredients, key details, and price in writing, supported by product videos in Turkish Sign Language (TID). Guests can show their selected items to their server on screen.
Accessible service for everyone.
Clear information
Item names, descriptions, key details, and prices are available in writing.
Flexible communication
Speaking is optional. Orders and special requests can be shared in writing.
Three easy steps at your table.
01
Explore the menu
Browse items, descriptions, and prices. Use search and categories to find what you want.
02
Discover items in TID
Tap the video icon on an item's image to open its TID video. Explore the ingredients and key details.
03
Show your order in writing
Show your server the selected items, quantities, total, and any special notes on your screen.
ELLER / ACCESSIBILITY
A clear menu
for everyone.
Every item's name and price are clearly written. The video icon opens a TID video about its ingredients, features, and presentation. You can also use the menu without watching a video.
No speech required
Written orders
What does the video icon do?
Example: Turkish Coffee
The icon opens a product introduction in TID. The video window includes the item's name and a short description, with an information panel fixed at the bottom.
This demo does not currently include real TID videos. When a video is added to an item, its icon will appear on the menu.
A culture shared around the table.
Gathering over coffee, sharing a table, and making room for guests are part of traditional food culture. ELLER is a café demo that brings this spirit of sharing together with clear written information and different ways to communicate.
How we communicate
Each guest's preferred way of communicating comes first: a written note, showing an item on screen, or communicating directly with staff who know TID, where available. The aim is to make questions and special requests easy to understand.
This demo does not claim that staff know TID or that a real business offers these services. Actual business information should be clearly stated before launch.
